New Practice Times!
As of May 6, our new practice times will be as follows:
Saturdays: Fresh Meat - 10am-noon @ YWCA
Saturdays: Youthanizers (Junior team) - 12:30pm-2:30pm @ Beltline
Sundays: League (skills practice) - 10am-1pm @ YWCA
Tuesdays: Jills (women’s team) - 7pm-9pm @ YWCA
Thursdays: Dogs (men’s team) - 7pm-9pm @ YWCA
Come out and skate with us! Drop-ins are welcome with a $5 fee, and Fresh Meat is designed for anybody who wants to give derby a try. See chinookcity.ca for more details!
Derby Double Double tonight in Calgary!
Come see two amazing games and support local men’s and women’s roller derby!
Bout 1: the Glenmore Reservoir Dogs take on the River City Riot! Who will be left howling at the end of the night?
Bout 2: the Kill Jills versus the Killer Rollbots from Invermere, BC! Don’t miss these deadly women on wheels!
It all happens at Village Square Arena (2623 56 Street NE) Doors open at 4pm, the men’s bout starts at 5pm, and the women’s bout begins at 7pm.
Tickets are only $10 and are available at the door! Children under 10 get in free!
